About Artist: Toby Rose Album: Hometown Released: 2025 Genre: Dance/Electronic . . Lyrics Back when we had it all Everything was beautiful Just like the memories we made . Down in cheap alcohol, Weekends at rodeo Yeah, we were living day by day Oh, wherever I go I'm thinking of home, thinking of home Oh, it's just how life goes You learn, you grow I feel it when I go . Back to my hometown Now it's been a while I never stayed There's a bitter taste Cause I'm so different now And nothing in this town has ever changed When I go back it just don't feel the same . Now we are miles apart Left my home in the dark Still got the keys to the front door But I've moved on and traveled far Me and my heavy heart There's nothing left here anymore Oh, wherever I go I'm thinking of home, Thinking of home Oh, it's just how life goes You learn, you grow I feel it when I go Back to my hometown Now it's been a while I never stayed There's a bitter taste Cause I'm so different now And nothing in this town has ever changed When I go back it just don't feel the same . Back to my hometown Now it's been a while I never stayed There's a bitter taste Cause I'm so different now And nothing in this town has ever changed When I go back it just don't feel the same More
